The modern world seeks shorter easier ways of doing things and domain name hacks or hack names as they are also known as offer the chance for this to happen. However as many believe they can also be confusing and not able to pass the radio test (spoken clearly in their meaning) some hacks are good and normally the shorter the better but some hacks are just a bit too confusing to be viable and that is where the conjecture starts. There have been some great hack name sales including instagr.am which was purchased as a website by google. Here is a video for a wordpress service that displays the hack name as a web address. I think it is not that good but other’s may think it is acceptable. In all fairness i do own ToplevelDoma.in so who am i to judge.

Whilst there was once a time where big profits were made daily many folk will tell you that those days are well and truly over unless you have a lot of good quality domains that you wish to sell under value. But as previously mentioned if you can get one good bit of information these videos are worth the time taken to study the different approaches, let’s have a look.

Whilst I do not think domain flipping is an easy thing, it is surely an unusual ‘modern world’ way to make money and if you do not get too greedy you may just do ok out of it? I think many domainers think they need to make a million dollar sale everytime they acquire or register a new name. Those days are over and the secret may be that turnover on a constant basis may be a better way to success rather than wait for the big sale that never comes. Although i don’t agree with the statement that domain name flipping is easy and takes little work, you must be diligent in your efforts to sell a name by identifying suitable businesses/entities that would benefit from owning your assets. With all videos on this site I go with the attitude that if you gain one valuable gem of information from each domaining video it has helped broaden your knowledge and helps you make better investment decisions. In the end it will be your knowledge base that contributes to better domaining success

Here is Simon Johnson from DomainerIncome.Com and he speaks of his new domaining tool that he has developed. I have met Simon at a Aussie domainers get together and he seems like a straight up kinda bloke so it would be well worth looking into his product if you are dealing with a large portfolio. Time and time again i read on the forums that someone has lost a great domain because they have missed or overlooked the renewal date.

Will google treat the new Gtld’s any different? I think we are now in the midst of content is king and user participation, if you can create sites that have unique user added content you may be on a winner? The new domain names may add up to nothing more than fluff when you consider to be on the first page of google now costs a lot of money. I wonder if the money spent on google advertising would be better spent on acquiring your own extension? It seems some companies such as google and amazon do and they are going after them big time along with another company called doughnuts. The question is will they allow any of us mere mortals to sub register off their extensions ……DnTv.Web ??
